Peggy Hoffman, LCSW, LMFT
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Peggy has been a mental health professional for over 30 years, working in a variety of behavioral health settings. Most of her clinical experience has been in community mental health; and most recently

at a regional child advocacy/adult rape crisis center, providing therapy to victims of sexual assault/abuse and non-offending family members. She utilizes a solution focused, problem solving approach with individuals, including children, teens, adults; couples and families. Her practice includes sandtray therapy, an experiential and expressive form of therapy, in which one brings figures or miniatures into the sandtray to story about life issues. For both children and adults, the sandtray becomes a safe place to enact issues in their lives, to express feelings, both verbally and non-verbally, and experientially resolve life difficulties. For adults, it provides an alternative to more traditional 'talk' therapies.
